Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy
At LM Hosting, we aim to provide clear and straightforward cancellation terms for all our services. This policy explains how clients can cancel website projects, hosting, maintenance and other recurring services.
Website Design Projects
Clients may cancel a website design project at any time by providing written notice.
Any work completed up to the cancellation date will remain payable. Where a deposit or other payment has already been made, the amount may be applied toward work completed and costs already incurred.
If the project has been substantially completed or delivered, the outstanding balance remains payable in accordance with the agreed quotation or invoice.
Monthly Hosting and Maintenance Services
Clients may cancel their monthly hosting or maintenance subscription by providing at least 30 days’ written notice.
Services will remain active until the end of the current billing period unless otherwise agreed.
Any outstanding invoices or balances must be settled before the account can be considered fully closed.
Domain Registration and Renewal
Domain registrations and renewals are subject to the applicable registration period and cannot normally be cancelled once the domain has been registered or renewed.
Clients are responsible for ensuring that domain renewal requirements are met if they wish to keep their domain active.
Non-Payment
Failure to make payment by the required due date may result in the suspension or termination of services until the account is brought up to date.
Suspension of a website or service does not automatically cancel outstanding charges. Any amounts already due remain payable.
Additional fees may apply where services need to be restored after suspension or termination.
Refunds
Payments for services already provided, completed work, domain registrations, hosting periods already used or other third-party costs are generally non-refundable, unless otherwise agreed in writing or required by applicable law.
Where a refund is applicable, the amount and processing time will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
How to Request a Cancellation
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing through an appropriate LM Hosting communication channel.
The request should include the client’s name, account details and the service they wish to cancel.
Clients are encouraged to request confirmation from LM Hosting once their cancellation has been processed.
Important Notice
Cancellation of one service does not automatically cancel other services associated with the client’s account.
For example, cancelling website maintenance does not automatically cancel website hosting, domain registration or business email services unless those services are specifically included in the cancellation request.
LM Hosting reserves the right to update this Cancellation Policy when necessary. Any significant changes will be communicated through the appropriate channels.
If you have questions about cancelling a service, please contact LM Hosting before your next billing date so we can assist you.
